BCM BEGINNING AND
DEVELOPMENT (Abridged):
Battle Cry Ministry (BCM) began
in earnest about January of 2001 by one individual. Before then it was mostly
just thoughts and ideas or, at the praying and planning stage. The name of the
Ministry and everything else about it, it is believed, was inspired by God Himself…
The founder felt continually impressed by God of the need to urgently spread
the Gospel and, have a heightened awareness of the Great Controversy that the
world is in.
The founder was inspired to start
creating Power Point Presentations (PPP) using a Revelation Seminars set
of lessons that was loaned to him (and which he had for years without doing
much else than an occasional glimpse at the materials) by Sister Claris Brown,
a member of the Johnson Town Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The main idea was to get the lessons
into PPP format … so that they could be projected on screen and be
used for preaching OR sharing in small group meetings, OR for studying at
family devotions, etc. The Ministry was really inspired by a need to be fully committed
to God and to reach out to others, following the great Gospel Commission
to "GO". (Matthew 28:18 – 20)
This strong inspiration was born and then
strengthened by the impact of 3 Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN). Another big inspiration was the
Ministry of Amazing Facts … which was introduced to us by 3ABN.
God blessed the efforts from start as pictures were sought to build the PPP’s, as brethren "chipped in" to provide pictures through the loan of books, old Quarterlies, etc. which would be scanned. At one point in desperation a T-shirt was taken off someone in order to scan the picture of the Bible that was on it to put in a presentation. To that point no picture of a Bible was at hand. Much thanks to all those who contributed! God bless you! The PPT's were eventually completed and were the main materials made available on BCM's first website which was launched on Monday, August 6, 2004! GLORY TO GOD!!!

The spirit manifested by the leader will be, to a great extent, reflected by the people. If the leaders professing to believe the solemn, important truths that are to test the world at this time, manifest no ardent zeal to prepare a people to stand in the day of God, we must expect the church to be careless, indolent, and pleasure-loving.--Christian Service, p. 177. {ChL 22.1}
WE ARE LIVING IN THE TIME OF THE ANTITYPICAL DAY OF ATONEMENT AS JESUS ENTERED THE MOST HOLY PLACE IN HEAVEN FROM OCTOBER 22, 1844 - that's almost 179 years! Much has been said concerning what will take place during the final conflict in the Great Controversy - the Mark of the Beast Crisis. More often than not persons will say "Some of us may be killed" OR "Maybe a few people will die", etc. However, there is no unity on the subject. There is no settlement in the truth in the matter. Perhaps if people knew more of what the BIBLE says in the matter, they would wake up and truly - by God's GRACE alone - get ready to stand. It behooves each individual to be guided by Romans 14:12, Philippians 2:12, etc. in this matter and pray and study the Bible DILIGENTLY for themselves. **Download the PPT Presentations below. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- The Bible teaches that we are in a war, a Great Controversy, the controversy between good and evil, between God and satan (Revelation 12). Battle Cry Ministry (BCM) believes that Jesus (Michael the Archangel = Son of God) will be victorious over satan! It can't be any other way ... because Jesus created Lucifer (who became the evil, wicked satan). Jesus loves every human being (God is love - 1 John 4:8) and wants all of us to be saved (John 3:16,17 / Matthew 25:41 / 1 Timothy 2:4). God wants to save you! (Matthew 11:28-30, John 3:3-7 and 16,17 and, 1 John 1:9, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17) GIVEN THE GREAT CONTROVERSY WHICH IS STILL ONGOING AND THE FACT THAT JESUS'S SECOND COMING IS IMMINENT, WE ARE COMMITTED TO SHARING THE THREE ANGELS'S MESSAGES - THE PRESENT RUTH - FOUND IN REVELATION 14:6-12 - TO ALL THE WORLD!!
THE PROPHET OF THE REMNANT CHURCH WROTE: (Revelation 12:17 & Revelation 19:10) There are many precious truths contained in the Word of God, but it is "present truth" that the flock needs now. I have seen the danger of the messengers running off from the important points of present truth, to dwell upon subjects that are not calculated to unite the flock and sanctify the soul. Satan will here take every possible advantage to injure the cause. {EW 63.1}
But such subjects as the sanctuary, in connection with the 2300 days, the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, are perfectly calculated to explain the past Advent movement and show what our present position is, establish the faith of the doubting, and give certainty to the glorious future. These, I have frequently seen, were the principal subjects on which the messengers should dwell. {EW 63.2}
Very simply, by God's grace (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit) ... AT LEAST ONE soul saved for His Kingdom! PRAISE THE LORD!!! If only one soul is saved it would be worth it! Jesus would have come from Heaven, lived on this sin-cursed earth and died to save ONE sinner! Why? Because in the vastness of eternity the life of ONE soul saved will eventually outweigh / out-value the life of millions or even billions that are lost! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Hence. Jesus said: Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
